The two journalists and economic authors Dr. Ilse Preiss and Harald Gruber established the Comundialis-Stiftung end of 2003. It is their deep conviction, that words must be followed by actions - and that's why they set this clearly visible sign.
They both know not only the sunny sides of success and prosperity. On numerous investigation-trips primarily to Latin America and Asia they personally met the ecomic poverty and ecological calamity, in which a large part of the world's population has to live.
The Comundialis Foundation can not solve any of this problems. But at least we try to work hard, so that the suffering of the poor and the deterioration of nature does not disappear from the agenda of the political and economic decision makers.
Also (and above all) due to the responsibility for the following generations, the efforts of innumerous people in the south as well as in the north for a little more justice in this One World may not remain unheard. They need a voice, that is well understood.
Actually, the countless ecological and social time-bombs on our common planet tick loudly enough. However exactly that is the problem: Where to start? Where to look at - and where to throw the lever - first?
The word was in the beginning. This is the first sentence of the Gospel according to John. We are convinced: It is the power and the strength of words, on which the mankind's hope is based today. But these words must be followed by concrete actions.
The Comundialis Foundation takes up this thought. Communication between the worlds, dialogue in the consciousness of our common responsibility for today and for the future - this is our approach. And because we think that we know quita a little bit about this issue, we want to bring in our professional expertise and contribute to this topic.
