The Comundialis Foundation pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes. All activities focus on the following working fields:
- Generation and publication of media for education and information about economic and social development as well as ecological issues. (...).
- The goals of this communicational work are: Strengthening the joint commitment for a better future in our One World and serving a better understanding of the different cultures around the globe
- Realization of seminars and workshops with topics around responsible socio-economic behavior, world-wide protection of nature, respect of human rights and effective sustainable development assistance.
- Distribution of information on ecological and socio-economic coherencies in the North and in the South to maintain the base of a global future in peace, justice and environmental health.
- Planning and realization of own development assistance projects
- most possible effective PR and educational work for projects of self-help groups and grassroot organizations in industrialized countries as well as in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
- Dissemination of acquired knowledge and know-how to other non-profit organizations around the world.
Wherever meaningful and possible, Comundialis Foundation is cooperating with NGOs, public institutions and / or the private sector to create synergetic effects and to guarantee for both sides the utilization of resources as efficient as possible.
Comundialis is selflessly active. The Foundation does not pursue primarily own economic purposes. It is not allowed to any person through expenditures, that are foreign for the purpose of the endowed institution, or by disproportionately high rewards is favored. The members of the foundation-organs are honorary active.
Supervision authority of the Comundialis Foundation is the district-government Cologne, most upper Supervision authority is the department of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia / Germany.
